Halar ECTFE is a melt-processable fluoropolymer with a 1:1 alternating copolymer structure of ethylene and chlorotrifluoroethylene.

Melt-processable fluoropolymer. Used in alectrostatic powder coating and topcoat. Provides very good chemical and impact resistance, tensile, flexural and wear-related properties, resistance to degradation by heat, high-energy radiation and weathering and optical properties, good electrical properties, a broad-use temperature range, outstanding abrasion resistance and low permeability to water vapor and other gases. Possesses low melt viscosity.
