The controlled oil absorption and high brightness of VICRON® GCC grades accommodates high PVC levels with stable viscosities and excellent opacity in interior flat latex wall paints. In exterior flat latex paints, chalking is minimized with the lower Hegman VICRON® grades. VICRON® GCCs are also used in high solids industrial coatings and traffic paints due to their controlled oil absorption and optimized particle size distributions. Ground calcium carbonate. Used in interior flat latex wall paints, exterior flat latex paints, high solids industrial coatings and traffic paints. Offers high brightness, narrow particle size distribution and controlled oil absorption. Allows high PVC levels with stable viscosities and very good opacity.
