Tixogel® MPG is specially modified laminar alumino-silicate.
It is maximum performance organoclay - self-activating, multi-purpose rheological additive.
Tixogel® MPG is a specially designed Organoclay for controlling rheology in a wide variety of applications. These include: Printing Inks (especially vegetable oil systems), Industrial Coatings (including epoxies and urethanes), Plastisols (both screen printing inks and industrial applications), and Unsaturated Polyester Systems (laminating resins and gel coats).
Tixogel® MPG may be used in aliphatic and aromatic solvents, ketones, esters and glycol ethers for coating systems. Both mineral and vegetable oils are suitable for ink applications. Tixogel® MPG exhibits high efficiency with Plasticizers (generally phthalates) in Plastisols and with styrene in unsaturated polyesters systems.
