Alcotex 359B
A partially hydrolysed polyvinyl acetate.
Alcotex 359B can be used in Ink-jet receivable coatings, where it acts both as the ink accepting layer and absorbs the carrier water. It can be used in the reprograpraphics industry in Diazo coatings, where its water sensitivity allows good penetration of the ammonia developer, whilst retaining good film strength.
Alcotex 359B can also be used as a powder binder in the Pyrotechnics industry.
