Alcotex 479B
A partially hydrolysed polyvinyl acetate.
Alcotex 479B can be used in Ink-jet receivable coatings, where it acts both as the ink accepting layer and absorbs the carrier water.
Alcotex 479B can be used in the reprographics industry in Diazo coatings, where its water sensitivity allows good penetration of the ammonia developer, whilst retaining good film strength.
Alcotex 479B is more water sensitive than the lower hydrolysis, Alcotex 359B.
